Volunteering in Kojima

Hello Everyone,

I hope you all had a nice Golden Week. I didn’t do anything special for mine, but I forgot to write about something I did last month that was really fun!

Every year I volunteer at a sake festival in Kojima, at a brewery called 18 Zakari.  My friend works there and I was able to spend the night at his house before the event. From nine to three I served sake to customers, and then after we cleaned everything up the staff served all the volunteers dinner!

I had a great time and met a lot of very nice people. They even let me fill my own bottle of fresh sake, which I had all the staff sign. It was a great event.  Please join us next year!
