Obon in Thailand

For the Obon vacation, I visited Thailand with a few friends.  We spent about two days in Bangkok and two days in Phuket.  

Bangkok was very fun.  It was crowded and busy, but I always like big cities.  We shopped at street markets and we went to the Grand Palace, one of the most famous attractions in Thailand.

Unfortunately, the weather in Phuket was not very good.  August is the rainy season in Thailand, so the water was dangerous and we couldn't go swimming.  But we stayed in a beautiful hotel for only $30 a night!

My vacation was fun, but too short.  There's a lot more to do in Thailand.  I wonder when I can go back...
