Rainy Hanami

Our cherry blossom viewing party was on Sunday. Early in the morning (8am) I went to the river to put out the groundsheet, but it was raining. So I went to the home center and bought a tent. We went to the river again at about 12:30. There were some people under the bridge near Ken-cho, but the riverside was mostly empty. Usually there are thousands of people there. In the afternoon, the rain stopped and about 25 or 30 people joined us. In the evening, the rain started again and we all huddled under the tent. Even though the weather was bad, we had a great time!
