We ended up buying the one that cost 56,000 before discount!!!! Holy cow!!!

I personally think that students should be able to make a choice if they want to buy a Randoseru or some other kind of bag. I was totally tired of wearing the same Randoseru by the time I was a 6th grader.
One of our students brought this picture to class the other day, and it really made me laugh.

Usa is an area of Tosa, a town in Kochi Prefecture. If I saw this sign while I was driving, I guess I’d be a little confused!
Apparently you can go whale-watching from Usa, which seems like a fun reason to go. And the Yosakoi festival is right around the corner. Maybe I should plan a trip to Kochi!
Hi everyone! What are your summer plans this year? I know some people have already started traveling, and some people are going somewhere in August. Are you doing anything fun?
I have a few plans during our summer vacation, but I’m most excited for Summer Sonic. Summer Sonic is a 2-day music festival that takes place every year in Osaka and Tokyo. A lot of bands from Japan and overseas come to perform in front of a huge audience. The festival is so big, there are four separate stages!

This year, there are over 60 bands and musicians performing in total. I’m only going for one of the two days, but there are still plenty of bands for choose from. I’m most interested in Fergie, Pentatonix, 星野 源, The Offspring, and Weezer.
There is a down side, unfortunately. The concert is held during the hottest part of summer, and I’m not looking forward to the hot, sweaty crowd. You can buy food and drinks inside, but it’s pretty expensive. My plan is to bring a lot of water with me in my backpack, along with plenty of sunscreen. Finally, the tickets are not cheap - around 15,000 yen.
But I’m ready for the heat and the crowds. In the end, it’s all worth it - I’ll get to see some of my favorite bands on stage for the first time!
