Cherry Blossom Viewing

We had our annual cherry blossom viewing party on Sunday. I went to the Asahi River early in the morning to reserve a space for our party. It rained a lot on Saturday, so the ground was very muddy and wet. I found s nice space in the grass, though.

In the early afternoon, the weather was ok, but very windy. Our groundsheet almost blew away several times. We used everybody's bags and beer to keep it down. About 30 or so people came out. There were just a few NEO students and a lot of our friends.

It started to rain and get very cold, so we finally gave up and finished up the party. Thank you to everybody who braved the weather and came out. Hopefully next year we will have a beautiful sunny day.
